It was a wonderful day yesterday at the Gleason Park Art Festival. We enjoyed meeting everyone including the owners attached to the leashes. We had quite a few of our furry friends stop by to model our new Christmas and holiday bandanas.

We were also happy to receive many custom order requests. So we’re busy dreaming up some new sizes and designs for your pampered pooch!

Enjoy the weekend.

The Central Brevard Humane Society and Brevard County Parks and Recreation will be hosting the 6th Annual Paws in the Park – “A Celebration of Dogs & Their Best Friends” on Saturday, December 6th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Wickham Park located at 2500 Parkway Drive in Melbourne.

This fun interactive pet fundraiser will kick-off with a quarter mile “dog” walk-a-thon around Wickham Park’s Front Lake led by the Paws and Stripes program participants.  People of all ages are encouraged to bring their four-legged friends along during the walk, but an animal friend is not required for participation.  From the largest teams to individual walkers, everyone’s support is needed to help raise funds to care for the homeless animals of Brevard.  The top (3) walkers with the most pledge dollars will receive a “fabulous” prize, and the first (75) walkers with pledges of $20 or more receive a FREE “Paws in the Park” t-shirt.

In addition to the walk-a-thon, the event includes entertainment, animal demonstrations, great food, pet contests, rescue groups, pet vendors, a paw print art booth, a dog wash station, an “ask a vet tech” booth and a pet psychic.  Also, bring out your favorite animal guy or gal and see if they will be crowned the “King or Queen of the Park”.  Contests will be judged by local celebrities and other surprise guests.  Admission and parking are FREE.  All animals must be on a leash and have proof of current shots along with a county tag.

We hope to see you there!  Email us if you’d like more information prior to the event.

Bozworth is home from the groomers.  He’s so fresh he didn’t want to sit still to model his new Pinstripe Paws bandana.

All I have to say is this Golden-Doodle is quick on her feet.  It took a few tries to capture Bella in her Halloween doggie bandanna.

We hope you and your animals have a safe and happy Halloween!

Trick or treat?

Trick or treat?

It’s October?

I have to pinch myself when I look at my calendar and realize it’s almost the end of 2008. This month and year has flown by and I attribute that to being busy!

It’s been over a month since I’ve posted in our blog. We’ve been busy visiting local shops and businesses getting the word out about our new doggie bandannas in the Melbourne and Jacksonville, Florida areas.

We’re still working on the website and that has taken a bit longer than expected. I tend to be a perfectionist, so we won’t launch the website until we’re happy with the website offering—so we’re busy sewing, shopping for great fabrics and getting the site up and running.

A picture is worth a thousand words.  Tala loves her new Pinstripe Paws bandanna.
